We've had a lucky 2009 for sure!

Our luck is bound to run out!

As we've state on the news page of this site the State Canal Flood Task Force and the Advisory Committee to this task force have not met yet!  All appointments have been made.  Our own Bob DiFlorio and Maureen Doyle have been appointed to sit on the Advisory Committee.

Of course nothing can happen if these two bodies don't meet.

Please consider contacting Governor Patterson and/or your elected state legislators.  Let them know we need to ahve a flood mitigation plan and one can't be created unless these two bodies meet.

Have a safe New Year and PLEASE report any variations in water levels that you see or experience.

Please don't forget to renew your membership for 2010.
